Informations sur Planets
Planets
Bassist Paul SLACK and drummer Thomas CRAWFORD is the duo PLANETS. They hail from Napa, California and have been consistently making waves in that state's thriving Mathrock scene, constructing an elaborate but raw sound and establishing a solid live reputation wherein the two dress in white body suits and project videos onto the stage. Bassist SLACK handles an entire range of stringed needs in both the very high and low ranges, his bass often closely mimicking an electric guitar.Equally spirited and serious, PLANETS crunch the maze rock of TERA MELOS and HELLA's debut together with the garage dank of MAPS&ATLASES, generating some of the best in the current wave of California Math.
Their self-titled debut album was released on January 2008 on Distile.
