Informations sur Neon Indian

Neon Indian est le dernier projet en date d'Alan Palomo, jeune musicien Texan prolifique également à la tête du groupe VEGA et des défunts GhostHustler.
Au départ, Neon Indian a été conçu par le duo Alan Palomo et Alicia Scardetta comme une expérience multimédia combinant leur musiques et vidéos dans des courts métrages, des teasers et des chansons expérimentales.
Bien que Neon Indian ait publié l'EP "No Way Down" dès 2008, le buzz autour du groupe n'a débuté qu'au printemps 2009, lorsque les chansons Should've Taken Acid with You et 6699 (I Don't Know If You Know ) ont été partagées et adulées par les blogs indie et divers sites musicaux. Quelques mois plus tard, les chansons Deadbeat Summer et Terminally Chill ont reçu une critique similaire.
Leur premier album "Psychic Chasms", est sorti en octobre 2009 et a reçu un accueil très favorable, notamment chez Pitchfork (magasine musical basé à Chicago) où il a obtenu la mention Best New Music.

Sur scène Palomo est accompagné par Ronald Gierhart (guitare, chant) Jason Farias (batterie) et Leanne Macomb (claviers)
