Informations sur Despite Behavior
Despite Behavior
Despite Behavior is the progressive metal project of Steeves Austin.Born in Montreuil France on 1986, Steeves started his Metalic trip at the age of 6 when a friend of his father brings Dream Theater's Images and Words to his young ear.
Then at the age of 11 he started to play the piano but after 5 long Years, when he understands that he wanted to play the whole John Petrucci's part in Metropolis Part 2, he started to play the guitar by himself.
Helped by Bruno Gomez, he worked strong pieces of Steve Vai, Symphony X, Ritchie Kotzen and of course Dream Theater.
After 2 years, his first song was written in a very progressive style.
We are in 2004 when the first release of "Dementia In Three Acts" appears out of Steeves mind.
He decided to give a name to his music and "Despite Behavior" is born.
To be the perfect One Man Band, Steeves decided to learn the drums and the bass.
After 5 long years, and fully motivated, Steeves releases "Scenes Part 1 - Dementia In Three Acts" the definitive version. more inspirated by powerful killers such TesseracT, Fellsilent, Meshuggah, Textures etc ... and always with a darkened felling from band like Dark Suns, Pain Of Salvation etc ...
During those 5 years, Steeves has finished the writting of 3 albums for despite behavior and is actually on the 4th.
In 2009, Despite Behavior will be made alive with the help of 4 perfect killers and the line up should be :
- Bruno Gomez : Guitars
- Sylvain Genevay : Keyboards
- Matthieu Stefan : Drums
- Thomas Cleris : Bass
- Steeves Austin : Guitars / Vocals En savoir plus sur Last.fm. User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
